This Quality 19th century Victorian Mahogany Antique Open Bookcase circa, 1870 is by the renowned makers C. Hindley & Sons. It has a beautifully figured moulded top above two adjustable shelves and stands on a moulded plinth. This superb antique bookcase benefits from maintaining the original backboards and has genuine, beautiful charm and character from years of use. The Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
