Description

Mid 19th.c. Welsh oak glazed kitchen cabinet bookcase or 'cwpwrdd gwydr' (glass cupboard) c.1830. Glazed top fitted with two shelves (depth 9") over a tall chest of two short and three long drawers of graduated height. In an attractive pale oak with a broard ogee cornice, arched glass doors and mahogany inlaid border to the drawer fronts. The glass knobs are period replacements. Moulded base trim and bracket feet. Excellent colour and condition, key supplied.
