A beautiful French solid silver box. It is hallmarked with two French boars head marks along with a makers mark, I would date it to c1890s. It has been beautifully made having a classical design. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the odd faint mark. The hinge works perfectly, the inside is clean and gilded with the lid closing tight. It measures approx. 1.25 inches (3.2cms) tall by 2.25 inches (5.5cms) across by 2 inches (5cms) wide and weighs 70 grams. A beautifully made very good quality piece.
