A beautiful solid sterling silver bowl or urn. It is hallmarked STERLING SILVER 950. I would date it to c1940s / 1950's. It has been beautifully designed having two leaf decorated handles with the bowl being supported on a pedestal base. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, gilded inside. It measures approx. 4.25 inches (10.8cms) tall to the top of rim by 6.75 inches (17.2cms) across including the handles by 4 inches (10.2cms) excluding them by 2.25 inches (5.6cms) across the base and weighs 158 grams. A very well made eye-catching piece.
