Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Gilt Ice Cream Set

Description

An antique Victorian sterling silver ice cream set which consists of twelve ice cream spoons and a larger serving spoon. These silver gilt ice cream spoons have nicely shaped bowls perfectly designed for eating ice cream and they each have attractive handles with pretty decoration to complete the style of this wonderful set. The larger spoon has the same shaped bowl and decorated handle which makes it perfect for serving ice cream. The gilding on the spoons is still in excellent condition and enhances the overall look of this set. The spoons sit neatly in the original box.

Length of serving spoon: 24.5 cms (9.6")

Length of each ice cream spoon: 12.9 cms (5.1")

It was hallmarked in London for 1889/1890 by Aldwinckle & Slater and remains in excellent condition.

Complimentary postage is included within the price of this ice cream set.
