She is shown wearing her crescent moon tiara and with her bow to hand, symbolising her status as goddess of the hunt, the moon and nature. Although both siblings are relatively common subjects for cameo portraits, it is rare to find both together.

The frame is marked 9CT on the reverse. The cameo has a hand-incised signature across the back but it is not decipherable.
The piece is in excellent antique condition. There are no chips or damage to the cameo; there are some pale striations on the back but no stress lines or cracks when the shell is held up to the light.

Size: The cameo measures approximately 3.5 x 4.5cm not including the bail.
Weight: 11.4g.
