Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Sovereign Case 1908

Description

This is a lovely antique sterling silver sovereign case measuring 1 1/4" (3 cms) across with a circular blank cartouche on the front.

It's hallmarked for Birmingham 1908 with the silversmiths mark for Aaron Lufkin Dennison.

It's in excellent condition, it weighs 23.4 grams and there are no inscriptions or monograms.

The area inside springs as it should and any marks you can see on the silver are just reflections - the coin does not come with the case it is for show purposes only.

This sovereign case will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
