Rare Six Dutch Solid Sterling Silver Gallon Ship Buttons C1900 Antique Cased

Description

A super quality cased set of six solid sterling silver buttons. They are hallmarked with the 930 standard mark and the Dutch sword mark and key mark used for export. I would date them to c1900. They have been superbly made being embossed with a gallon ship design. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, left silk hinge cover split. They measure approx. 0.75 inch (1.9cms) across and have a combined weight of 12 grams (excluding the case). A very good quality well made set.
