A superb rare silver plated letter opener / page turner. It is unmarked but dates to c1890. It has been very unusually designed being in the form of a leather belt with a horse shoe buckle detailing. It is in superb condition being free from dings slits and repairs. The plate is original and shows no wear. It measure approx. 10 inches (25.5cms) long by 1.5 inches (3.7cms) wide and weighs 82 grams. A very well made very unusual piece.
