A stylish English solid sterling silver and glass dressing table box or pot. It is hallmarked for London 1930 with the makers marks being that of Asprey & Co Ltd. It has been beautifully made having a engine turned silver lid with the cartouche engraved with the initials MT. The silver is free from splits repairs and dings. The glass is free from cracks chips and repairs. The lids fits well. It is a good usable size measuring approx. 2.5 inches (6.5cms) across by 2.5 inches (6.4cms) tall and weighs 234 grams. A beautifully made piece.
