Unusual Chinese Export Solid Silver Cutlery Rests C1900 Antique

Description

A very unusual pair of Chinese export silver cutlery rests. One is marked with Chinese marks. They tests as high grade silver. I would date them to c1900. They have been superbly designed having figural ends. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs - small holes where the two halves of the figures have been joined, obviously the way they were made. They measure approx. 4 inches (10cms) long by 1 inch (2.4cms) wide by 1.5 inches (4cms) tall and have a combined weight of 40 grams. Very unusual examples.
