Superb quality Chinese rosewood bookcase with stunningly carved triangular shaped frieze. Two astragal glazed doors ( working lock and key ) flanked by more beautiful carving, opening to a shelved interior. The base has three short drawers with attractive brass pierced back plate and handles sit above a two door cupboard that has a removable shelf. This bookcase is a gorgeous rich colour with amazing graining and patina. In excellent condition with only minimal scuffs / marks etc in line with age and use. It separates into two sections for easy transportation and is home ready.
