This early 19th century Quality Antique Victorian Mahogany Double Open Bookcase dates from ca. 1850 and is of great proportions so ideal for a large book collection. This quality Victorian bookcase has a figured moulded top above a double open section, each with two adjustable shelves. It stands on a plain plinth, has super quality carved corbels and comes with beautiful charm and character. The bookcase has aged to a warm mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
