Danish silver gilt and enamel Christmas Spoon. 1956.
These spoons were started by silver smith Anton Michelsen, Copenhagen in 1910. They made a different shape and pattern every year, with different designers creating a varied Christmas theme. This design is called Snow Flowers and was designed by Jorgen Michelsen.
This delightful spoon with it''s delicate white enamel flowers with a hint of pale green is 16cm long. It is one of the most popular spoons of the series. Excellent condition.
