Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Mustard Pot

Description

An antique Victorian sterling silver mustard pot which has an unusual shaped body with eight inverted curved sections prettily decorated with flowers, swirls and leaves, a hinged lid with similar detailing, an attractive thumb piece and resting on a solid silver flat base. The handle is nicely shaped and detailed and the blue glass liner, which is still in excellent condition, fits snugly within the body. This lovely mustard pot would make an interesting addition to a collection and would be perfect to use. It weighs 4.5 troy ounces (139 grams) without the liner.

Height: 7.7 cms (3")

Width of base: 8.2 cms (3.2")

It was hallmarked in London for 1852 by Joseph Price and remains in excellent condition.

Complimentary postage is included within the price of this mustard pot.
