A superb antique 18ct gold diamond lover’s knot ring from the Edwardian period. This lovely ring features a knot with a diamond set panel over it and 2 further diamond set panels to each side. The knot originally symbolised never ending love and the joining of two people. A lovely piece of antique jewellery that will make the perfect gift for someone you love, or simply an attractive ring that will bestow a real sense of character to its wearer. Very good. This antique 18ct gold diamond lover’s knot ring is superb condition. There is a small mark to the inside of the shank where the ring has been professionally resized at some time in its life. Other than that, the metalwork is in near perfect condition with hardly a sign of any wear. The hallmark is good and clear. The stones are housed safely in their settings. One outer diamond has been replaced with a diamond chip which doesn’t detract from the ring at all. This ring has obviously been cherished and well cared for and it would seem has never been worn as an everyday ring.
