Gorgeous Vintage Silver & Enamelled Designer Brooch C. 1903

1900 - 1920
Description

A delightful vintage silver and enamel butterfly brooch. Excellent detailed craftmanship. The wings are beautifully enamelled and the colour is superb; a vibrant yellow with a beautifully contrasting green body. Marked on the back Sterling silver and the silver maker's mark John Aitken & sons working during the period 1903-1918. There is a good fastening clasp at the back.

 

A perfect gift, made by a collectable designer and in fabulous condition.

 

Period: c. 1903-1918

 

Measurements: Width: 3.2 cm Height: 1.8 cm Weight: 3.5 grams
