Description

Georg Jensen Danish "Daisy" earrings. Sterling silver with 18ct gold plating and white enamel.

The Daisy is the Danish national flower, and when the current Queen Margrethe was born in 1940 her mother Queen Ingrid was presented with a special version of the Daisy to commemorate the event. The pattern has become part of he Danish life style.

The ear clips are 1.8cm diameter. Total weight 7.1g. Excellent vintage condition. I have a matching pendant listed separately.
