Antique Dutch Walnut Display Cabinet Bookcase on Bombe Base Late 19th Cent Wdb4987/1.9

Description

Lovely antique dutch waln ut display cabinet bookcase on bombe base and dating from around 1890. It has a carved pedament to the serpentine shaped top with moulded cornice and cross banded frieze above two glazed panelled doors with gilt lock escutcheons and key and the base of bombe form with three graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined with gilt handles and lock escutcheons with carved frieze to the skirt and standing on lovely carved paw feet.

The top separates from the base for ease of transporting.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the walnut.

Measures: 85" high X 19" deep X internal depth (top) 12" X 55" wide
