Beautifully styled, solid silver cream jug in the most fabulous Art Deco form. Nicely proportioned (8.3 cm high), the body of the jug flares outwards from the base, giving it an almost telescopic appearance. The handle and spout exudes art deco! and it stands on one circular banded foot. One one side the very clear hallmarks are visible for Birmingham 1944, along with the Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver an the maker''s mark for the silversmith: Joseph Gloster Ltd.
A fabulous jug for cream, sauce or water. Practical for use and superb as an ornamental piece.
