Georgian Mahogany Secretaire Bookcase

19th century
Description

Good antique george the 3rd secretaire bookcase circa 1800 with cathedral gothic doors to the top section, an inlaid secretaire drawer containing a desk and writing surface and a drawer base. The wonderful shaped glazed doors are in good condition with one small 1 inch crack in 1 pane this is not worth replacing as you would lose the original glass. The drawer front is lowered to reveal a faded baize writing surface this is perfectly useable but has lost a lot of its colour, easily changed if you really wanted to. The bookcase overall is in good antique condition with the usual signs of use and age
