Cased Set of Stunning Art Nouveau Silver Spoons & Tongs Hallmarked Roberts & Belk Sheffield 1905

A stunning set comprising 6 gorgeous art nouveau silver spoons and a pair of matching silver sugar tongs . Each of the spoons is decorated with the most wonderful design at the end of each of the terminals (see images). Clear hallmarks are visible on the back for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1905, Lion Passant the maker's mark: Roberts & Belk. The sugar tongs match the spoon's design and also bear the same hallmarks.

The set sits in the original black leatherette case (the push button is slightly damaged and there is some scuffing to the exterior of the box, commensurate with age). Inside the interior of the case is lined with a lovely shimmering deep sage green satin and velvet which is in great clean condition.
