Diminutive in size but with great charm, this early 19th century stool has a rounded rectangular top with a moulded edge and a central piercing for carrying. The moulded edge to the frieze is echoed on the lower, H-shaped stretcher which links the four square tapering and slightly splayed legs. Circa 1820-40.
