Ancient Western Asiatic Gold Bell Pendant

This unique ancient Western Asiatic gold bell pendant is a very interesting artefact made in the 1st – 2nd Millennia BC, making it 3000 – 4000 years old. It comprises of a gold bell suspended from a disc fitted with a small loop. This one-of-a-kind artefact will make a conversation starter and a wonderful piece of ancient history. A part of our ancient jewellery collection.

There were many cultures and civilisations throughout this period in Western Asia. Goldsmiths in this ancient society would have combined gold with silver and copper, then heated and hammered their jewellery into shape. There is much jewellery in existence from this area which gives an idea about their wealth and prosperity.

Good. This ancient Western Asiatic gold bell pendant is presented in good condition. The bell has a small dent and there is a split across the disc. The pendant is attached to the disc by a ring connected by a loops which are all in very good order. We recommend that you do not wear this piece of jewellery as it is quite delicate. A superb piece of ancient jewellery.
