Rare Mechanical Silver Plated Old Mother Hubbard Table Bell 1909 Antique 486g

Description

A rare English mechanical silver plated table bell. It is hallmarked with Elkington silver plated marks and the date letter X for 1909. It has been superbly designed in the form of Old Mother Hubbard with her skirt forming the bell, to ring you simply push her head and the heavy clapper swings like a pendulum - simple but ingenious. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, slight wear. It measures approx. 4.5 inches (11.4cms) tall by almost 2.5 inches (6cms) wide and weighs 486 grams. A high quality well-made rare piece.
