Nicely Designed Silver Tea Strainer Birm' 1943

A very nicely designed solid silver early vintage tea strainer . Uncomplicated design; a circular bowl base has a fluted edge and pierced bowl and stands on three ball feet. Two tidy handles either side protrude. Hallmarks are visible on the edge of the bowl for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1943, Lion Passant indicating fine sterling silver and the silver maker''s mark: E J Houston.
