English 19th Century Walnut Glazed Bookcase

19th century
Description

This is either a very large English 19th century walnut two door pier cabinet, or a 3/4 size English 19th century walnut two door glazed bookcase, circa 1880 and in super condition and with great colour.

The proportions of this piece work very well and won't overpower a smaller room and the top surface is also useable for further display and is fully veneered and polished as will be seen.

Narrow depth, so it can stand in a number of locations and not creep too far into your room, also with the sides being glazed too, this helps keep the piece feeling lighter.

There are two adjustable shelves and the base surface, giving you three surfaces in total. The shelves are in solid oak, so no worries if you are wanting to use this for books etc.

The interior is finished in a vintage watermarked silk lining which is in good condition, but if you would rather a different colour, or for the interior to be perhaps painted, please get in touch.

Great piece and unusual to find in these proportions.
