Large David Andersen Norwegian 830s Silver Serving Spoon 1900 Antique 82g Norway

1900 - 1920
Description

A rare top quality Norwegian solid silver serving spoon. It is hallmarked with the 830S silver marks with the makers marks being that of David Andersen, this mark was used between 1888 and 1925. I would date this piece to c1900. It has been superbly designed with a cast handle depicting a bird, the bowl back has been plannished. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 8.75 inches (22.3cms) long by 2.5 inches (6.5cms) wide and weighs 82 grams. A very high quality rare example.
