A very fine and good heavy gauge silver toast rack. In lovely Art Deco style, the unusual shape is a stylish design feature, with iconic deco style wings on either side. Four good sized compartments, in which to stand the toast make it a practical item. Very clear hallmarks are visible on one side for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1932 and Lion Passant indicating fine sterling silver. The silver maker''s mark is also very clear and crisp: Deakin & Francis
