A charming sterling silver matchbox holder by Adie Lovekin, Birmingham, 1897. The maker's mark is rubbed but remains legible, the silver hallmarks remain clear.

The matchbox holder is an exceptional condition throughout with only light surface scratches commensurate with age. The holder retains a vintage matchbox with side striker.
