Description

A large 19th Century silver plated mazarine or draining dish with beautiful pierced decoration. Designed to sit on a large meat platter, this tray has a rim to the base to hold it in place on the platter. Tinned to the base and no makers mark, but probably dates from the mid 19th Century.

Good heavy quality with minor surface scratching due to use and no signs of plate loss.

Weight approx 1.4kg

Measures approx 47cm x 33.5cm

Rim measures approx 44cm x 30.5cm
