A stunning Edwardian silver circular Pot Pourri Pot. The style of the pierced lid is distinctly art nouveau featuring flowers and trellis, and the colour of the wonderfully gilded interior shines through the piercing. On the lip of the body of the pot are the very clear and crisp hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1905 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. The maker''s mark is also visible: H Hazlewood & Co.
A wonderful pot and in great antique collector''s condition.
