A rare top quality English solid sterling silver fish slice server. It is hallmarked for Newcastle 1838 with the makers mark being Thomas Wheatley. It has been superbly made having a fiddle pattern handle and has been very nicely pierced and engraved with an unusual design. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 12 inches (30.5cms) long by 3 inches (7.2cms) wide and weighs 130 grams. A very high quality rare example.
