Pretty Victorian Silver Pill Box Birmingham 1897

A very fine example of a late Victorian solid silver pill box in an oval shape, with a beautiful floral repousse pattern on the lid and sides. In the centre is a vacant cartouche and neat crimping to the edge of the lid. It has a hinged lid and opens to reveal a gorgeous golden gilt interior. Hallmarks a visible on the base for Birmingham 1897 along with the maker''s marks: Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings Shepherd, along with the Lion Passant, partial marks are also visible on the lid edge.
 
 
 
Condition: In lovely condition - no marks or dents to the silver.
