Rare Solid Silver Folding Spoon & Fork Early 20th Century Dutch

1940 - 1960
Description

A superb very unusual solid silver folding spoon / fork. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. It is most likely Dutch in origin. I am aware these can be early but I suspect this is a mid 20th century copy. It has been beautifully designed with the handle being able to fold whilst the spoon can be detached from the tines. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, slight movement in the hinge locking slide but its just the way it was made. It measures approx. 4.75 inches (11.8cms) long by 3.5cms wide and weighs 44 grams. A very high quality rare piece.
