Very nice quality rare English solid sterling silver armed reading glasses. They are unmarked but tests as sterling silver. They date to the early 19th century. They have been superbly designed having natural fronts and silver extendable arms. They have quite strong lenses. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits chips cracks and repairs, slight deviation along the lengths of the arms. They measure approx. 4.25 inches (11cms) wide across the lenses, the arms measure over 6 inches (16cms) long. They weigh 18 grams. Very unusual examples.
