A beautiful German Hanau solid silver table box. It is hallmarked with Hanau mark for Simon Rosenau who operated from 1862 to 1932 I would date this piece to c1900. It has been beautifully designed being embossed to all sides with various figures including cherubs. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and lightly gilded. It measures approx. 6.25 inches (15.7cms) long by 2 inches (5.2cms) wide by 1.5 inches (3.6cms) tall and weighs 150 grams. A very high quality example.
