Description

A very stylish boxed German solid silver tot or shot cup. It is hallmarked with the crescent moon and crown state symbols introduced in 1886 along with the 835 standard, it has been made for and retailed by Juwelier Hansen a highly regarded top end German establishment. I would date it to c1950s - 1960's. It has been superbly made having an hand plannished with gilded detailing. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (4.2cms) tall by 1.75 inches (4.5cms) across the rim by 1.25 inch (3.3cms) across the base and weighs 32 grams (excluding the box). A very stylish example.
