A beautiful very rare German silver snuff or tobacco box. It is hallmarked with the German State marks along with the 800 standard mark and dates to c1900-1910. It has been beautifully made with the lid being embossed with Napoleon Bonaparte and family. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The hinge works perfectly, the inside is clean and gilded and the lid closes flush. It measures almost 3.5 inches (8.7cms) across by over 1 inch tall and weighs 100 grams. A beautifully made rare top quality piece.
