Superb English Solid Sterling Silver Sovereign Coin Case 1911 Antique 26g

1900 - 1920
Description

A superb English solid sterling silver sovereign coin case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1911 with the makers marks being ALD for Aaron Lufkin Dennison (Dennison Watch Case Co). It has been superbly designed having a sprung compartment which can be depressed allowing coins to be inserted. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs, just the the odd faint mark. The springs that hold the coins are strong. It measures approx. 1.5 inches (3.5cms) across excluding the loop by 0.5 inch (1.4cms) wide and weighs 26 grams. A super quality piece.
