A top quality interesting Georgian solid sterling silver marrow scoop. It is hallmarked with the makers marks of William Chawner. It has been engraved with a horse crest - most likely a variant of that used by the Trotter family. It is in superb condition having no dings splits repairs or wear. It measures approx. 9 inches (23cms) long by 1 inch (2.4cms) wide and weighs 62 grams. A very well made interesting piece.
