A stunning silver Pot Pourri Pot. The style of the pierced lid is distinctly art nouveau and the colour of the wonderfully gilded interior shines through the piercing. On the underneath of the pot are the very clear and crisp hallmarks for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1903 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. The maker''s mark is also visible: William Comyns & Sons.
