Victorian Silver Sugar Bowl By William Neal

An elegant and sturdy large silver Sugar Bowl. The bowl has two decorative twin handles either side of the oblong shaped body. The lower half of the bowl features a gadrooned pattern and a neat ornamental rim at the top. Clear hallmarks are visible on one side next to the handle for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1897, along with the Lion Passant indicating finest sterling and the maker''s mark for the renowned silversmith: William Neal.
 
 
 
This is an impressive, good sized sugar bowl and would grace any tea tray or dining table; in great condition.
