A handsome, heavy gauge silver Toast Rack . Comprising 4 compartments for toast, with a neat carrying handle on the top, this toast rack stands nice and sturdy. The design is classic. Hallmarks are clearly visible on the base for the Sheffield Assay office, dated 1928, along with the Lion Passant (sterling silver) and the maker''s mark: Harrison Brothers & Howson (George Howson).
