This late 19th century Beautiful Victorian Large Oak Antique Open Bookcase dates from ca. 1880 and comes in a wonderful shade of warm oak. The figuring and rich honey colour to the oak sets this piece apart. It has a figured top with moulded edge above two adjustable shelves and stands on a plain plinth.
It has aged to a warm oak shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
