A pretty little Victorian solid silver Pill Box. This circular box has a pull of lid that is embellished with repousse decoration and has a vacant cartouche in the centre. The body of the box is simply a plain polished silver. When the lid is removed, the gilt interior is exposed. Underneath are the clear hallmarked for Birmingham 1898, along with the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and the silver maker''s mark: E S Barnsley & Co.
Condition: In lovely condition (the pull off lid fits snuggly - this is purposeful, being a Pill Box).
