Exceptional Edwardian Silver Sovereign Case

An exceptionally engraved Edwardian, solid silver single Sovereign Holder Case with a loop for attachment. The very attractive engraving consists of swirling patterns and floral decoration to both the front and the back, with a lovely flower engraved in the centre of the back of the case and a vacant cartouche in the centre of the front. Spring loaded, the case works perfectly and is in nice antique condition.
 
 
 
Hallmarks are visible on the inside of the lid for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1905 and maker''s mark for Rolason Brothers.
 
 
 
A very attractive case and unusual to find such delightful engraving to the silver.
 
 
 
Condition: In great antique collector''s condition.
