Unusual Edwardian Silver Hoop Form Toast Rack

1900 - 1920
Description

A delightful, solid silver toast rack comprising 4 silver compartments, in a lovely and unusual curly, hoop design. The toast rack sits on three neat ball feet.

 

The toast rack bears the clear hallmarks on the underneath, for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1910 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver, along with maker's marks for the renowned silver maker: George Unite.

 

A lovely item and in great condition.
