Edinburgh Silver Ladle By Alexander Gardiner C. 1794

A solid silver George III silver sauce ladle. This ladle is nicely proportioned (17cm length). A plain polished silver, the ladle has a lightly engraved initial ''C'' at the top of the terminal.
 
 
 
To the back of the ladle are the hallmarks for the Edinburgh Assay Office with silver maker''s marks: Alexander Gardiner & Co (who was active during the period 1794 - 1798).
 
 
 
A super item for a collector of early Edinburgh silver!
 
 
 
Condition: In very good condition (there is a slight bend to the terminal)
