lovely quality Georgian mahogany secretaire bookcase... probably Scottish.

the flared inlaid cornice over glazed double doors opening to adjustable shelved interior. the base with pull out secretaire drawer, fitted with various drawers, pigeonholes and secret compartments, leather writing surface, over three long graduating drawers, all oak lined with brass handles and raised on bracket feet.

normal signs of wear commensurate with age and use but overall this really is a lovely quality bookcase, heavy and solidly constructed.
